Setting aside the fact that I was handed a free fresh baked chocolate chip cookie as I walked up to place my order, I found this place to be very friendly, and the food to be incredibly tasty. There’s so many choices, and it was very hard to decide, but I went with the Reuben sandwich and it was incredible.

Was in town briefly last week and went for breakfast twice. Excellent breakfast tacos and breakfast sandwich. Delicious free chocolate chip cookies provided with the purchase. And great coffee from Barley Bean. The staff was friendly and attentive. Can't recommend it enough!

Read moreSo glad we made the stop here! Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by staff, and the person behind the counter even gave each of us a cookie — just because. He was kind and patient while we navigated the menu.
Portion sizes are generous — I ordered the junior size burger and it was still as big as a regular burger. This spot is a unique mix of burger joint, café, and bar, with bottled spirits for sale and other to-go snacks. It seems they share the space with other vendors that aren’t fully vegan, but their own menu is 100% vegan.
My partner isn’t vegan, but he said it was the best vegan Reuben sandwich he’s ever had! There’s plenty of parking, and you can tell the team here is passionate and knowledgeable about what they serve.

Read moreComing from California, I’ve been spoiled with my choices for delicious vegan food. Who would have thought Texas would be able to deliver something, not just on par, but exceeding vegan Cali standards. I ordered the BBQ brisket plate and let me tell you, I was blown away. The brisket was smoky, flavorful, and had that meaty texture down to perfection. I never would have guessed it was mushroom! The sides of coleslaw and mac n’ cheese were equally delicious. Of course, vegan cheese still has a little way to go before it’s able to fool dairy lovers, but it the side dish still was ooey, gooey, and went perfectly with that smoky brisket. The owner was super nice as well and gave me a vegan chocolate chip cookie and some of the creamiest vegan vanilla soft serve you can find. All in all, Mission Burger Co. is a solid 5 stars.

Read moreArielle was amazing! Helped me choose what to order and also let me try a little of the brisket (which was divine) and a little of the mac and cheese (delicious) I went for the Mission Burger and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Also got to chat all things vegan with Arielle who gave me some great recommendations for other places back in London I hadn't heard of. I really appreciated her taking the time to speak with me!
Highly recommended!

The owner was incredibly welcoming when I came in, and he gave me a free vegan cookie! He gave me some great recommendations. I decided on the breakfast burrito, and it certainly did not disappoint! It was extremely filling and packed filled with flavor.
