Day 2 of opening in new location and the food was fantastic. They are still settling in but service and food was spot on. Burgers are creative and filling. We loved the food experience.

It also stands out for having good protein-forward options, so you’re not just getting a bun-and-sauce situation—these burgers actually feel filling and substantial.
Flavors are on point across the board, portions are generous, and the free cookie at the end is a very welcome bonus!

I’ve been vegan for 14 years. I’ve lived in the Bay Area, Miami and now Austin and have spent a lot of time in NYC. Mission Burger is simply the best vegan burger/bbq spot out there. Everything is fantastic, the staff is super friendly, the menu is always improving. It’s is one of the only places where I order something new most times I go and I’m always delighted. If you liked Vegan Mob in Oakland, you’ll LOVE Mission Burger in Austin.

Recently enjoyed my first mission burger! While ordering the brisket jr burger and brisket mac n cheese, we were surprised with a freshly baked complementary chocolate chip cookie that was soft, gooey, and delicious! Overall, I will say the burger was pretty good - honestly, I could've done without the impossible burger and more brisket (as it was wonderful). The fries were loaded with garlic - highly recommend! Mac n cheese was soupier than expected, but the flavor was good. The cost was a little steep, over $50 for the meal (not including drinks). I would love to go again to try their soft serve! 😋

Setting aside the fact that I was handed a free fresh baked chocolate chip cookie as I walked up to place my order, I found this place to be very friendly, and the food to be incredibly tasty. There’s so many choices, and it was very hard to decide, but I went with the Reuben sandwich and it was incredible.

Was in town briefly last week and went for breakfast twice. Excellent breakfast tacos and breakfast sandwich. Delicious free chocolate chip cookies provided with the purchase. And great coffee from Barley Bean. The staff was friendly and attentive. Can't recommend it enough!

Read moreSo glad we made the stop here! Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by staff, and the person behind the counter even gave each of us a cookie — just because. He was kind and patient while we navigated the menu.
Portion sizes are generous — I ordered the junior size burger and it was still as big as a regular burger. This spot is a unique mix of burger joint, café, and bar, with bottled spirits for sale and other to-go snacks. It seems they share the space with other vendors that aren’t fully vegan, but their own menu is 100% vegan.
My partner isn’t vegan, but he said it was the best vegan Reuben sandwich he’s ever had! There’s plenty of parking, and you can tell the team here is passionate and knowledgeable about what they serve.
