Finally made it to Okra for the first time as I'm hardly ever in Shrewsbury during the week. So glad I did. Had the Korean tofu burger with polenta fries and a side of kimchi. Everything was top notch, especially when sat on a bench in a sunny quarry. Would highly recommend. Was too hungry for photos so will have to go back again soon.

We were on a short stay in Shrewsbury and visited this lovely little place for an excellent "street food" lunch. Friendly welcome and service, good menu and really tasty food, much of which is homemade and cooked to order.

TLT (tofu, lettuce & tomato) burger was amazing. Simple, but didn't need to be anything more.

Limited seating due to the size of the venue but it was quiet at the time I visited so this wasn't an issue. They mainly seem to be geared towards takeaway anyway.
Only negative is the limited opening hours, would have liked to have gone later in the day but they close at 3pm.

We got a Korean & a chip shop burger with polenta fries and the fruit slushy. We've been vegan 10 years and hard to impress. This is the second time I've been and the food is fresh hot and fast. Super tasty. Only thing missing is dessert. I wanted to take a photo of the food but I ate it so fast! Maybe next time.

We stopped here on our way back from our hiking trip in North Wales and was pleasantly surprised with the value for money and amazing flavours. I'm not even a burger person - I have yet to have many great burners but Okra has got to me in my top 2-3 places for this type of food!

Hands down the best place to get vegan fast food. Have been going for years and will continue to go for years. It was a curse and a blessing that they shut on weekends as between myself and my girlfriend we were spending far too much money there, but I wish we were still spending far too much money there.

Visited today with my husband and daughter. We ordered the Chippy-T, Korean burger, and the Katsu noodle bowl. The food was delicious. I am a huge fan of tofu anyway, but I think this was perhaps the best burger I have ever had. Definitely worth a visit if knocking around Shrewsbury.

Food is like a warm hug. Comforting, filling and so delicious. Laid back atmosphere and unique seating arrangements make it feel so cosy. Staff are chill, not too talkative but friendly.

A full range of options; hard to choose! We went Chippy-T and Mexican. Good choices. Will have to come back to sample the rest. Forgot to take a photo of the food, sorry! Only remembered when I was left with my empty wrapper. Hope that helps lol.

We stopped by here whilst visiting the area. I’ve never seen a tofu burger before (only soy or vegetable based) so I had to try it. I had the Chippy T with potato wedges. We took our food to the castle and ate it on a bench in the sunshine. It was so good, the tofu was nice and crispy and the curry sauce was tasty. The wedges were nice and salty. Really enjoyed this meal, thank you.

I had the cat burrito, with chilli smashed tofu, kimchi and spring onions. Was amazing, incredible flavour, stayed intact and a good price. The polenta fries were great too, as was the sunshine (turmeric & oat) latte. Would recommend to anyone
