We were warmly greeted by the owner of Rhino Vegan Beat who is vegan himself and clearly takes pride in his restaurant!
Read moreWe sat outside in the shade and looked over the menu which is full of tasty dishes. We went for the Chick ‘n’ Fitty and The Iron Rhino Wrap souvlaki wraps, with a side of Mayo Truffle Potato Fries.
Both of the wraps were excellent with lovely soft chewy home-made pita bread wrapped around delicious fresh ingredients! The fries were also delicious - very well seasoned with lots of mayo which had a strong truffle flavour.
We were very full and satisfied after our food and would definitely recommend visiting!

There is a wide variety of vegan dishes in Greek style. I tried the Lahmajun and spiral potatoes; both were delicious and very filling. The prices are reasonable, and they also offer gluten-free options.

Read moreJust a heads up, there’s some issues with gluten handling, so if you have a serious allergy or are celiac, this might not be the best place.
FYI- if you're Canadian, Greece doesn't have a tipping culture so if you tip, here, they ring a giant bell indicating that you left a tip... I'd leave the tip on the table rather than tipping when you pay lol

Such a good restaurant. The prices are overall ok, the food is delicious and the staff is superrrr helpful and kind! We had the space gyros combo, the 3 dips with pita, the ‘eat like a greek’, beer, lemonade, ouzo and a very good banoffee. My parents are meat eaters, but they loved the food and service as well. I can only recommend!! Great experience.

The mushroom gyros here were absolutely delicious! I lived in Greece 10 years ago before going vegan and was craving an authentic gyro and this truly hit the spot. Great for a quick bite! Also, the lemonade with ginger and turmeric was so refreshing on a hot summer day.

I'd heard good things so was expecting better. I had the cauliflower bites burger which came on a dry pretzel bun, it was big & filling but nothing exceptional. My girlfriend had a really nice bowl with celeriac puree & giant beans, it was really good but maybe not worth the price. Compared to other places this is quite exoensive probably because it's in a very busy tourist area. To me it felt like a vegan chain food, not a lot of love in it.

Vegan Beat Athens is one of my go-to spots in the city and has been for years now. The food is consistently delicious, offering a healthier twist on vegan Greek-style street food. Their peach kombucha is still the best I’ve ever had!
Read moreThe staff are always welcoming and serve everything with a smile, which adds to the laid-back, friendly vibe. Even though it’s technically fast food, it feels fresh and thoughtfully made. Prices are very reasonable too.
Whether you're vegan or just looking for tasty food in the heart of Athens, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

We went here based on another review which claimed they did the best gyros in Athens, and the food was incredible! We had the gyros, potato spiral and seitan boss burger. Definitely recommend, and prices were reasonable for the portion size and quality.

We tried vegan gyros in a couple of places, but this place's "Space Gyros" is by far our favourite. The mushrooms are really tasty, and the price for a pita is great (just 5 euros). We came back another day and also tried the meatballs and moussaka: the first was really nice, but we did not really love the moussaka (might be just our taste of course), the cauliflower bechamel was quite overpowering. But we definitely recommend this place! You should also try their kombucha's.

Fun atmosphere and staff. Outdoor casual seating with generous servings of food. We enjoyed the vegan potato egg salad (crazy realistic eggs), carrot hot dog (large) tsimitsouri burger and skepasti pita with a side of spiral potato. The salad and burger have a good deal of cilantro in case thats not your thing.
