Hidden gem for breakfast in Kyoto - Edit
Lovely cafe (and little shop) ran by a friendly lady and her daughters. Only open in the morning for breakfast. They have a couple of choices and all the food is being prepared fresh and with all the love and attention. Great way to start your day in Kyoto and I’m sure non-vegans will like the food as well, since it’s just really yummy and filling.

Near Kawai Kanjiro historic house and Takasegawa neighborhood, this welcoming place is open for breakfast only, with a small bulk food section (dried fruit , grains, peanut & walnut butter) and some typical Japanese items for sale: fans, kimono etc. We had the tofu scramble on toast and smashed avocado sets, that come with a cup of lentil soup, chia pudding and salad.

The owners are so sweet!!!! The food is healthy and delicious. Exactly what your want when you’re travelling, breakfast can be a tough one for vegans!! The mushroom toast plate I enjoyed again and again.

We found this beautiful little place for breakfast, and it was so nice! Vegan eggs on toast were unreal, and I had a beautiful spiced latte. I was too eager to eat the food I forgot to take any photos! Various meals and sets on offer.

The staff are so lovely and accommodating. We had the Scrambled "Eggs" on toast, they were delicious and had a yummy egg taste.

We ordered 2 sets with plant based scrambled tofu and a peanut butter toast and to drink hot cocoa and cafe latte. Everything was delicious, freshly made and served with a smile! The staff is beyond friendly, you feel welcomed! Price totally fair for what you get, made with organic high quality ingredients and also homemade peanut butter. Highly recommended!!! :)

A great place to visit if you are vegan or even if you aren’t vegan. Family run business with very friendly service and great food. Tofu scramble toast was perfect and tofu was home made. Matcha and coffee were both great too. Definitely worth stopping by to get a great breakfast

Probably the best vegan scramble I have ever had. This cafe is run by a mum and her daughters who both studied in the UK so they are all fluent in English and absolutely love to chat to. There is also a vegan organic store connected to the cafe which is great for getting some vegan snacks if you’re travelling around Japan.

Not only was the breakfast amazing, the service was wonderful. I ordered the amazake and had a lovely explanation. It was fantastic. I went for the egg set and my wife had the mushroom/hummus set and we split them. Both were as good as each other. Definitely coming back
